Galina reaches Colonel Taylor without a gun. :-)

And I think it is interesting that Colonel Taylor called Galina his eldest daughter's name. I think that would make it VERY hard for him to pull the trigger on her.
Tokyo Rose 18th Nov 2014, 12:56 AM edit delete reply

Depends partly on how much lip his oldest gives him, possibly? ;D
highlander55 18th Nov 2014, 9:12 AM edit delete reply

IF it was an ex-wife she would be a goner for certain.
Stormwind13 18th Nov 2014, 11:49 PM edit delete reply

From what Colonel Taylor said earlier, Rose, I think he is PROUD of his daughter. I can't see him shooting her as long as he could see her as his daughter (and not some fuggly monster).
Dragonrider 18th Nov 2014, 1:19 AM edit delete reply

He hasn't shot her yet, she has about 3 minutes left before his psychosis kicks in full strength, he already thinks she is allied with the aliens in the attack he sees in his mind because she is now no longer human in his eyes.
Centcomm 18th Nov 2014, 4:30 AM edit delete reply

it IS a risky move ill give you that..
plymayer 18th Nov 2014, 1:27 AM edit delete reply

He does trust her.
Centcomm 18th Nov 2014, 4:30 AM edit delete reply

They have had a lot of time to talk .. :D
plymayer 18th Nov 2014, 1:28 AM edit delete reply

Man like him always has to be over cautious though.
Centcomm 18th Nov 2014, 9:16 AM edit delete reply

jamie59 18th Nov 2014, 1:28 AM edit delete reply

She got the gun off her at least.
Centcomm 18th Nov 2014, 4:31 AM edit delete reply

yep did indeed :D
DLKmusic 18th Nov 2014, 1:55 AM edit delete reply

Nice... And I like how you gave Galina a trump card (Amelia), and she refused to play it.
Do you girls ever get tired of me calling your strips Awesome?
Centcomm 18th Nov 2014, 4:30 AM edit delete reply

nah nah go ahead .. and nope she didnt .. you think she should?
mjkj 18th Nov 2014, 4:06 AM edit delete reply

Hmmm, Gali really seems to resemble Amelia.

I just hope Gali comes through with what she said...

Centcomm 18th Nov 2014, 4:13 AM edit delete reply

Well hopefully ill get to show the real Amelia at some point :D
mjkj 18th Nov 2014, 4:45 PM edit delete reply

That would be great, CentComm... :D

...and with a 'lovely' name like that she must be great. :)
Stormwind13 18th Nov 2014, 7:48 PM edit delete reply

I want to see Galina and Amelia get to interact. Even if Colonel Taylor does NOT make it. I have a feeling that they would get along.

Lord help Colonel Taylor though if he is still around and that happens. TWO of them going at him. He would be DOOMED. Especially if Amelia is as cute as Galina. Colonel Taylor would be more doomed than he would be around the armed nuke, even if was unstable. :-D
Centcomm 19th Nov 2014, 12:21 AM edit delete reply

LOL :D
Matt Knab 18th Nov 2014, 11:39 AM edit delete reply

Thank goodness. Hopefully he'll listen to reason.
Centcomm 19th Nov 2014, 12:20 AM edit delete reply

Hopefully he will :D
jas 18th Nov 2014, 12:00 PM edit delete reply

Well, here's hoping on rational thought breaking through to the hallucinating man with all the weaponry, but why am I still anxious? XD
Centcomm 19th Nov 2014, 12:20 AM edit delete reply

because you know we like to throw curve balls :D
DizzasterJuice 18th Nov 2014, 12:26 PM edit delete reply

Firefly! FIREFLY damn it!

*sigh* It's not gonna happen is it?
DLKmusic 18th Nov 2014, 3:11 PM edit delete reply

yah know, several of those nukes are armed and loose. Firefly may not be the brightest Idea, even if the result of one of them going off inside the hull would be a "bright" result.
Centcomm 19th Nov 2014, 12:21 AM edit delete reply

LOL all good points :D
mjkj 18th Nov 2014, 4:47 PM edit delete reply

Nope, no Dizzaster yet, Juice...
Stormwind13 18th Nov 2014, 7:48 PM edit delete reply

LOL mjkj. Good one! :-D
Centcomm 19th Nov 2014, 12:20 AM edit delete reply

might .. still could..
Haegan2005 19th Nov 2014, 11:16 PM edit delete reply

Well, he is at least willing to listen, but he still has his doubts as to what she is saying. If he believed her all the way, his gun would be holstered.

We, as humans, tend to trust what our senses tell us. After all, they keep us alive and not trusting them can get you very dead very quickly in most situations. Then you have the odd curve ball like imposed hallucinations...

This guy would would be a good character for the hub thread i think. I still can't believe I read all 630 pages.
Centcomm 19th Nov 2014, 11:25 PM edit delete reply

There is a comic too.. for the HUB that is..

Col Taylor is a GOOD MAN .. hes NOT evil or mean. hes used to trusting his senses and instincts without question.. but this.. oh lord. :D
Haegan2005 20th Nov 2014, 10:59 PM edit delete reply

It's the mushrooms they had for lunch right?

I have enjoyed the story immensely so far. The characters have had a depth developed for them that permits us to empathize deeply with them and that makes for dang good story telling.
