DizzasterJuice 13th Nov 2014, 12:22 AM edit delete reply

LOL funny.. :D
GhostRider 17th Nov 2015, 2:25 PM edit delete reply
@DJ I think you may have been working on Bidi too much, you're thinking like her.
Dragonrider 13th Nov 2014, 12:33 AM edit delete reply

UH, Houston we have a slight problem. Col. BFN seems intent on starting an Interstellar war by blowing up the space ship from two galaxies over. Please send lots of Imodium AD because we all about to Krap our drawers. Oh yes a few pair of clean drawers for those who can't wait for the AD.
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 4:04 AM edit delete reply

LOL good one...
jamie59 13th Nov 2014, 12:46 AM edit delete reply

Well he recognizes her that's a plus.
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 4:04 AM edit delete reply

he recognized Kiku too..
mjkj 16th Nov 2014, 9:10 PM edit delete reply

But not Pensri nor Widget...
Centcomm 16th Nov 2014, 10:11 PM edit delete reply

Nope he didnt .. for whatever reason .. also Kiku was a LOT more agressive than widget..
Stormwind13 13th Nov 2014, 12:48 AM edit delete reply

Scary man with a gun... and even worse, LOTS of BOOM! How did a nice girl like you wind up in a situation like this, Galina?
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 4:04 AM edit delete reply

Shes kinda wondering that herself...
mjkj 13th Nov 2014, 8:59 AM edit delete reply

I guess that was you, Cent ;)
DLKmusic 13th Nov 2014, 1:56 AM edit delete reply

Well, what where you guys expecting? an unknown potential hostile of unknown offensive and defensive capability? sending 1 nuke?

Do you all think there's only 1 ascetylene torch on that ship too?
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 4:05 AM edit delete reply

hehe :D
Haegan2005 13th Nov 2014, 3:03 AM edit delete reply

I admit that she is braver then I. I would get lots off backup before going there. presumably some is coming?
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 4:05 AM edit delete reply

Actually considering his state of mind additional people would be seen as a instant threat.. BAD idea .. shes on her own folks.
plymayer 13th Nov 2014, 3:06 AM edit delete reply

Her fear might be her advantage. If he senses fear in her he may believe her to be telling the truth.
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 4:05 AM edit delete reply

point..
T1G3R2501 13th Nov 2014, 11:53 AM edit delete reply
When I sense fear I usually pounce on the prey and end it... Let's hope the crazy cornel isn't a tiger by nature!
Stormwind13 15th Nov 2014, 11:37 PM edit delete reply

LOL T1G3R.
plymayer 13th Nov 2014, 3:11 AM edit delete reply

Sorry, for my perverted sense of humor, the last though ballon has me going.

"was scared half out of my mind, and not by the gun." (Is he happy to see me or is that a gun in his pocket?)
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 4:06 AM edit delete reply

The Bombs are scaring her more than the gun ...
Fairportfan 13th Nov 2014, 3:55 AM edit delete reply

Being that close to the bomb when it went off would be rather preferable to being shot. Quicker and less painful.
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 4:07 AM edit delete reply

yep she wouldn't even see the flash..
Rms2000 13th Nov 2014, 4:37 AM edit delete reply

After that comment in the second to last frame, I'm surprised to not have seen anything from Rose yet. Well, Rose? Are you pissed?
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 7:51 PM edit delete reply

Shes just slow today :D
Tokyo Rose 13th Nov 2014, 10:01 PM edit delete reply

It's entirely possible that the scream of "YOU STUPID FUCKING ASSHOLES" was emitted at a pitch beyond human hearing.
Hydrargyrum 13th Nov 2014, 10:51 PM edit delete reply

Ah, so that's where speed talk comes from.
Rms2000 14th Nov 2014, 1:06 AM edit delete reply

Hmm... Does pitch affect posts on the internet? ; P
DLKmusic 16th Nov 2014, 2:00 AM edit delete reply

Is that what sent my cat scurrying under the bed, Rose? I couldn't get him to come out for 2 hours!
cattservant 13th Nov 2014, 5:21 AM edit delete reply

Not a time for 'failure to communicate'!
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 7:51 PM edit delete reply

no so very much no .. >_<
Stormwind13 13th Nov 2014, 9:47 PM edit delete reply

Communicating is what Galina is best at, cat. If she can't pull it off, NOBODY could.
mjkj 13th Nov 2014, 8:58 AM edit delete reply

Awww...

poor Gali *hugs her*

I hope she can really talk him down...

Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 7:52 PM edit delete reply

Hey this our girl here :D She knows what shes doing.. I hope..
mjkj 14th Nov 2014, 9:16 AM edit delete reply

me, too...
mjkj 15th Nov 2014, 8:31 PM edit delete reply

Hmmm, maybe she could start with: why did you (try to) kill Captain Kiku, Pensri and Widget? We just have removed / are removing their bodies from the hallway...

Maybe that will get to him.

(...and if you include the whispered "try to" there is no lie in there at all...)

Tokyo Rose 16th Nov 2014, 7:49 PM edit delete reply

Hostile verbal confrontation with an armed paranoid? Not too smart.
jas 13th Nov 2014, 11:31 AM edit delete reply

Good scene build-up and it does show how brave and determined Gali is. Some people would probably lose it, run and get themselves capped off by Lt. Col. La-La Land there...
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 7:52 PM edit delete reply

Yep Gali is tired of being scared..
Stormwind13 15th Nov 2014, 11:39 PM edit delete reply

She might be tired of it, CentComm; however, I fear she isn't DONE feeling it on this mission.
Outlaw 13th Nov 2014, 1:00 PM edit delete reply

Something tells me he doesn't get visitors often.
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 7:52 PM edit delete reply

hehe not with THAT attatude :D
Stormwind13 13th Nov 2014, 9:54 PM edit delete reply

Most people aren't that CRAZY, Outlaw. I mean, staring down the barrel of a gun is bad enough. He is arming multiple nuclear weapons while doing that... Not real conducive to friendly visits. :-D
Matt Knab 13th Nov 2014, 5:18 PM edit delete reply

And already, she's gotten the furthest in trying to stop him. XD
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 7:53 PM edit delete reply

Yep!
Timotheus 13th Nov 2014, 6:52 PM edit delete reply

Just thought I'd point out that nuclear and thermo nuclear weapons aren't nearly as effective in the vacuum of space as we think they would be. The destructive power of their shock waves are lost without a media to transmit them through and their heat flash is similarly restricted. They become a rather local effect weapon, more suited for demolition. In practice this means placing then inside the target so they can blow them outwards. Outside impacts on asteroids and spaceships are not likely to do much harm.
Centcomm 13th Nov 2014, 7:53 PM edit delete reply

Actually Demo charges are how they would be used .. the 3C AI has already plotted the weak points.. well perceived weak points..
MirrorField 14th Nov 2014, 5:25 AM edit delete reply
Quite true. Square-cube law is a harsh mistress. However, contact nuke (ie. meter or two outside) is still quite effective and the radiation flux is a real killer. For more info, look here: http://www.projectrho.com/public_html/rocket/spacegunconvent.php
Kamy 14th Nov 2014, 7:04 AM edit delete reply

You're right. but even on earth, it's the radiation wich is the most "usefull".
Thermic radiation or neutron radiation...

In space, you use a vector to deliver the nuke inside your target, then the thermic effect is enough to make enough havoc.
Miyto 14th Nov 2014, 8:22 AM edit delete reply
So what I'm seeing is simply:
Nukes are more precise weapons when used in space. And if you hit an enemy space ship, it won't vaporize or likely hit your ship at all.
I see less problems with using nukes in space than on earth.
Except missing, that is now an issue.
j0e 13th Nov 2014, 10:56 PM edit delete reply
At least he recognizes her. That's a start.
Dan 14th Nov 2014, 12:36 AM edit delete reply
Big boom bada boom.
Howard 14th Nov 2014, 12:27 PM edit delete reply
She is in a unique position to reason with him. The people he sees as actual people he thinks are being "controlled" by the aliens. Well he already knows that she is not affected by them because of what she is. So if he was going to listen to anyone on the ship it would be her.
DLKmusic 14th Nov 2014, 6:18 PM edit delete reply

That's actually a really good point, if he can stop long enough to reason that out himself, or if Gali points it out to him in a way he will hear.
Centcomm 14th Nov 2014, 6:21 PM edit delete reply

Thats the reason shes not bringing anyone else into this.. SHE has talked to him.. a lot. shes hoping he will still trust her.
T1G3R2501 14th Nov 2014, 1:18 PM edit delete reply
So now would be then perfect time for The Mask to just eat the bombs lol
Centcomm 14th Nov 2014, 6:21 PM edit delete reply

if only
Hornet 14th Nov 2014, 1:56 PM edit delete reply
Hmm.. one wonders whether those missiles have penetrating heads or magnetic mountings. Why do I wonder this? because a nuclear explosion whether out such a way to keep the forces directed at the target, probably wouldn't even increase the background rad levels.
Centcomm 14th Nov 2014, 6:21 PM edit delete reply

The are proximity or impact triggered .. they are pretty simple missiles..
Stormwind13 15th Nov 2014, 11:41 PM edit delete reply

Well if they have proximity fuses, then they would detonate when they got into the target's area. Should never get an impact, the proximity fuse would trigger it before then. :-)
Hornet 15th Nov 2014, 11:50 PM edit delete reply
Ah, so the aliens get to watch fireworks before unleashing a photon beam cutting the Luna Star to ribbons.
Stormwind13 16th Nov 2014, 12:06 AM edit delete reply
GhostRider 17th Nov 2015, 2:26 PM edit delete reply
Okay, I read TRI/FXT wrong. I was wondering who's idea it was to invent TRI/FART weapons. (Probably TR's idea come to think of it)
