Ooops our little Amy...WOW!!!! That'll teach Doc I best stops here before I make Rose blush with the comment I was gonna write. BTW does URK count as a word? please say it does.
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 12:09 AM edit delete reply

It does of course.. and oh go ahead .. Love to see rose blush..
Dragonrider 6th Feb 2014, 12:24 AM edit delete reply

Good! He said the one word, also he has damaged her by invalidating the function of the neural inhibitor, YAY JERKSICLES*Cues Muzak to play Chopin's Death March* As soon as Jett gets here Captain and Amy can escort Doc to the nearest exit and wish him a "Happy Voyage Home." And No I aint gonna do it there are ladies who read this strip. Just leave it that I think Doc probably is single and used a Sex Bot for the frame because he has certain needs that are not acceptable in polite, hell ever in prison society come to think of it send him to the prison with word that he likes to hurt little girls, put him in Gen Pop and pair him with the biggest, meanest Con they have. Nature takes care of the gene pool at times.
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 12:46 AM edit delete reply

hehe.. wow .. feel the love.. NOT.. :D
Dragonrider 6th Feb 2014, 1:13 AM edit delete reply

Just noticed Capt Kiku is my kind of woman packs two for reverse or cross draw.
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 1:29 AM edit delete reply

yep she can do both - but rarely needs both..
Dragonrider 6th Feb 2014, 2:23 AM edit delete reply

Actually if I go with a full load out I prefer double cross draw, a hold out and at least 2 knives.
jamie59 6th Feb 2014, 12:39 AM edit delete reply

Poor Gali. Amy you'll make the inquisition blush.
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 12:46 AM edit delete reply

hehe she "MIGHT" have some unresolved issues with things :D
cattservant 6th Feb 2014, 5:01 AM edit delete reply

Heh, I feel like I'm in grade school again and the teacher wrote "please see me" on my paper. I think I know why you redacted it though. I'll email you in the morning.
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 2:43 AM edit delete reply

Thank you... looking forward to it. :D
Talantus 6th Feb 2014, 6:11 AM edit delete reply
Oh Boy I hope Mir is not in trouble
velvetsanity 6th Feb 2014, 1:28 AM edit delete reply

looks like the collar *did* get damaged...poor Gali...

someone fetch Jet!
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 1:30 AM edit delete reply

yep it appears so..
Dragonrider 6th Feb 2014, 1:59 AM edit delete reply

Wonder what, if any working relationship Jett will have with Granger ongoing. Granger almost killed the love of Jetts life demanded Jetts AI project be terminated with extreme prejudice. Of course with luck Jett will be on the Torch Ship will Galli and Kiku. The other question how are Jetts parents going to react when they find out their son's girlfriend isn't a Russian refugee but in fact is a cyborg and any thought of grandchildren now must include adoption or as Heinlein postulated in "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress", Friday and all his later novels marriages that consist of more than two people and children are raised in common with all adults sharing in parenting. While she is unable to conceive, gestate and give birth; I think Galli would make an excellent parent for either adopted or for communal children from a group marriage such as the type Mannie and Wyoming had with his O'Kelly-Davis family.
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 2:03 AM edit delete reply

it will be most defently "intresting" to say the least .... :D

Actually on the the "friday" comment .. she proably would.. Galina actually loves children .. deeply. gee wonder where she got that from.
Sheela 6th Feb 2014, 7:32 AM edit delete reply

Getting Jet there would indeed be good, however, this might be a chance for Dr Granger to redeem himself a little and fix the collar.
JacobJSebastian 6th Feb 2014, 1:29 AM edit delete reply
Holy crap. I just did the math. Assuming 5 comics a week (both lunastar and doc) and an average of 4 panels each page, that is 3040 renders a year. Dang, girl... That's a ton of work! Thanks for putting so much into this!
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 1:31 AM edit delete reply

Your very welcome and yeah thats a LOT of renders !
JacobJSebastian 6th Feb 2014, 1:35 AM edit delete reply
Whoops doc=dc
velvetsanity 6th Feb 2014, 1:47 AM edit delete reply

It's a lot more renders than that. Don't forget test renders and discarded renders.
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 1:48 AM edit delete reply

yeah no kidding ..
Tokyo Rose 6th Feb 2014, 4:01 AM edit delete reply

And the pages that The Author looks at and goes "WTF?" and cuts because they're not needed, or bitches about until Cent re-shoots . . .
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 4:57 AM edit delete reply

um yeah hate it when that happens.. >_<
Talantus 6th Feb 2014, 6:14 AM edit delete reply
Don't forget the maintenance of the sites and updating information, text, fan arts... Damn that's a lot of work !
Sheela 6th Feb 2014, 11:38 AM edit delete reply

At least some of the upkeep is done by Comicfury, that must be a relief.
Centcomm 7th Feb 2014, 12:26 PM edit delete reply

the site coding and all that .. and its a big job trust me..
plymayer 6th Feb 2014, 2:01 AM edit delete reply

Something about being a dad myself makes me want to take her pain away and onto myself.
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 2:04 AM edit delete reply

I know right.. I felt horrible doing these panels .. I hope I projected that pain though her correctly..
Dragonrider 6th Feb 2014, 2:14 AM edit delete reply

You did good, the collar is doing something because she's speaking English and not cursing in Russian, BTW someone needs to tell Doc Numb-Nutts what she said to him, might as well let him know how much the AI community loves him, make him feel that much more welcome.
Centcomm 6th Feb 2014, 2:23 AM edit delete reply

Its actually not working at all.. Shes fighting the pain as best she can. but its overloading her..
cattservant 6th Feb 2014, 6:14 AM edit delete reply

Has Miss Tempest got the collar right side up?
Centcomm 7th Feb 2014, 12:25 PM edit delete reply

Hopefully she does...
Tokyo Rose 6th Feb 2014, 4:01 AM edit delete reply

You projected it through body language, I got the fun job of making hurty bad ouchie ouch word talk.
talantus 6th Feb 2014, 3:21 AM edit delete reply
heyyyyy, is it me or did amy use one the comments form a few pages back on how to make Dr. granger suffer the most?
Tokyo Rose 6th Feb 2014, 4:02 AM edit delete reply

I refuse to apologize for borrowing Mr. Black's suggestion, because it was BADASS. :D

Although I did tone it down some.
Talantus 6th Feb 2014, 6:17 AM edit delete reply
Apologize ? Hell no that was awesome! I'm pretty sure he's also (and he should be) honoured to have his line In the comic.
It does say how much Amy hates granger. I'm actually starting to feel bad for him honestly, so much hate
Tokyo Rose 7th Feb 2014, 3:24 AM edit delete reply

"Hate" is too strong a word. Amy's emotional palette is kind of limited.

She does, however, have the capacity to fuck with someone. Behold, the birth of Android Snark. :D
Sheela 7th Feb 2014, 5:15 AM edit delete reply

... when the earth company build her, you "added" a few bits and bobs to her language pack, didn't you ?

Dammit Rose, you're not supposed to hack android manufacturing factories!
I wonder how often Centcomm have to debug her language core for stuff like that ?
Centcomm 7th Feb 2014, 12:25 PM edit delete reply

All.. the damn time... its like Torettes for machines >_<
talantus 7th Feb 2014, 3:14 PM edit delete reply
and thus, with awareness came snark. lol pretty close to human nature isn't it?
Sheela 8th Feb 2014, 2:07 AM edit delete reply

I knew it, naughty, naughty Rose ! >_<
cattservant 6th Feb 2014, 4:24 AM edit delete reply

The fecal material is in oscillating flight!
mjkj 6th Feb 2014, 5:35 AM edit delete reply

Poor Galina

*repairs the collar and hugs her*

I hope they soon will find Jet and the other technicians and the repair will be a quick fix.

You go Amy and tell him!!!

*hugs Amy*

Edit: ...and I hope the "guards" get their due also! (If one drives a car - and with that a bank robbery is conducted where one dies - one also gets charged with murder => so those should also be charged with (supporting) attempted murder)
Tokyo Rose 9th Feb 2014, 4:27 AM edit delete reply

The guards aren't accomplices to attempted murder, because no attempted murder has been committed. Remember, legally speaking, Galina is not considered human (or even a "living" thing) at this point, therefore can't be murdered. One might push a case for "accomplice to attempted property damage", but it'd be pretty weak.
mjkj 9th Feb 2014, 5:25 PM edit delete reply

Too bad...

They could use a dose of healthy reprimand on why they are there as guards in the first place.
King Mir 6th Feb 2014, 11:11 AM edit delete reply
Now, how could I be in trouble? Centcomm wouldn't ask me to contact her for spam, scams, vulgarities or anything like.

I was just commenting on the comic. . . speculating about the characters . . .
making observations.
talantus 6th Feb 2014, 4:34 PM edit delete reply
whoops srry bout that accidental double post.

aahh i get it, you took a guess that was so right that cent didn't want people to get spoilers lol. or probably something like that. make sense. good for you ^-^
mjkj 7th Feb 2014, 5:21 AM edit delete reply

Maybe even asked to write a side character...?
Hornet 6th Feb 2014, 11:42 AM edit delete reply
To Amy, While I'm not sure if that would have any effect on his structure. Can you say the Bends (decompression sickness)?
Sleel 6th Feb 2014, 12:46 PM edit delete reply

Oh. I dunno. I'm of the mind of those deep sea critters that get dragged up to the surface to fast. While the pressure at depth may be more then 10 atmos, they also aren't being vented to hard vacuum. So I'm guess some rupturing is gonna happen. Especially given the 'slow' raising of pressure. Lets the body acclimate to the higher atmos and become saturated with high pressure gasses to compensate. He may not look like the guy soaked in chemicals hitting the windshield in RoboCop, but I can imagine some good skin splitting and squishy organ rupturing going on. End eyes.... Eyes popping like grapes. *pssskssht*
Dragonrider 6th Feb 2014, 2:27 PM edit delete reply

Especially if you use pure O2 not a breathing mix with nitrogen and other gasses we inhale normally. Not only is the pain unbearable but limbs get twisted beyond use and in not a few cases death is possible. However in this case with the broken bones in the arm we can hope for useless a life filled with pain. Lil Ray of Sadistic Full Moonshine, that's me.
Hornet 6th Feb 2014, 10:54 PM edit delete reply
While I admit I wasn't thinking to much abut soft tissue damage.
The Bends are what divers get when they come to the surface to fast? Takes a while for it to kill you, and causes intense pain while the gas bubbles travel to your brain.
Dragonrider 7th Feb 2014, 12:40 AM edit delete reply

Doesn't always kill but the aftermath without proper treatment damn fast in a recompression chamber with a day of so for decomp, can be lifelong painful with twisted muscle tissue, if you had broken bones doubtful they would heal properly lungs, liver, kidney and heart damage possible, If one of the bubbles breaks loose and ever hits the brain massive stroke.
Tokyo Rose 7th Feb 2014, 3:27 AM edit delete reply

Hang on, let me ask Mr. Black to post up the full gruesome description he gave of what his original suggestion would do to a human body . . .
Guest 9th Feb 2014, 3:49 AM edit delete reply
I've been present when a dive chamber fails with a diver inside. I don't need to see or hear it again.
cattservant 6th Feb 2014, 3:42 PM edit delete reply

I think I detect an application of A&U coming in the next two or three pages...
Antonious 7th Feb 2014, 10:27 PM edit delete reply

As a former Navy submariner I was trained on the causes and prevention of the bends and nitrogen narcosis. I took the warning to eat light that day seriously. A very good idea.
Dragonrider 7th Feb 2014, 10:51 PM edit delete reply

Having strapped on tanks a few times to enjoy a quiet, beautiful world I fully appreciate the reasons you ascend in stages and observe full decomp protocols.
Johninaustin 10th Feb 2014, 4:32 AM edit delete reply
I hope Amy sticks around, she and i would get along great.
Stormwind13 11th Feb 2014, 12:01 AM edit delete reply

I hope Amy sticks around too. The Captain needs someone that she can depend on when she has to take a break to watch over Galina. :-)
