42 isn't the answer to everything. It's just the answer to the most important question.

Problem is, organic or AI, nobody has figured out the question.
Centcomm 5th Nov 2013, 12:28 AM edit delete reply

isnt that the truth :D
CyberSkull 5th Nov 2013, 1:22 AM edit delete reply

The problem is that some idiots interbreed with the organic processors corrupting the whole experiment.
Centcomm 5th Nov 2013, 1:23 AM edit delete reply

CyberSkull 5th Nov 2013, 1:34 AM edit delete reply

When they drew scrabble letters they got "what is six times nine?"
Now in base 10 six times nine is 54, but in base 13...
Not quite as obvious as the letters of fire 50 feet tall, but then again the message wasn't as important...
"What is the answer?" Silly humans.

Centcomm 5th Nov 2013, 12:28 AM edit delete reply

That quote is so going to end up on my desk at work!

On the other hand,
I once saw Mathematics described
as being like a kind of musical expression.

I think it was in one of Jack Vance's
"Dying Earth" stories.

My son could count to 100 at 4, and could count to 100 in two languages at 5...
